Dr Robert Carsson is a graduate of the LSE; he is an educationalist and consultant who has worked in schools, colleges and universities in the UK and overseas. In 2000, he was awarded an assistant professorship in Turkey. He has since served as a UK national examiner and as a foundation degree coordinator. Robert was short-listed for a Pearson Teacher of the Year Award in 2014 and has seen his students awarded prestigious, international accolades.
He has worked as a teacher trainer and is an Oxford University Press textbook author. Besides having worked on establishing new schools, his work as a Curriculum Leader was recognized by the UK’s Office for Standards in Education as follows: “[He] accurately identifies strengths and weaknesses in teaching… [and] has led to improved standards. Course reviews are now very thorough. The new curriculum manager has quickly developed a strong team ethos and has set a clear direction for further improvement.”

Co-Founder & Advisor

Ernestina Meloni obtained postgraduate degrees from both Birkbeck, London, and Cagliari University; she has extensive teaching and examining experience, and has authored a variety of key educational texts.

Ernestina’s dynamism has brought her numerous accolades, not least an Italian knighthood (Ordine del Merito) and, in 2005, she received a University of Chicago award for Best Teaching Practice. Ernestina is both a founding governor and the Educational Director of London’s Italian School, SIAL.

Advisory Partner

Ruth Gusterson currently works for a UK education authority in a strategic capacity. She was previously Head of a London primary school after having served as both Deputy and Assistant Head across two schools.

Ruth has experience as a Safeguarding Lead and holds postgraduate education qualifications besides having obtained a national headship award from the Institute of Education.
